Photodynamic therapy in periodontal disease treatment

Periodontal disease treatment considers system of measures which affect causes of disease, aiming to stop destruction of teeth supporting tissues.

We followed up most of latest techniques and agents in treating periodontal disease during years:surgical treatment with bone substitutes augmentation and guided bone regeneration,use of acellular conective tissue and proteins of enamel matrix.

In last couple of years we use photodynamic therapy Helbo laser system in periodontal disease treatment. Therapy is less invasive than other methods and it doesn't necessary include surgical treatment.Postoperative course is less unpleasant.

We have good results with so far treated patients,even in severe cases.Teeth are fixtured,and it improves quality of life.

Helbo-therapy also shows good results in periimplantitis treatment.
